Why am I exhausted all the time?

Yes, that is pee on the floor - in front of the toilet? Hmmm...
Need I say more? Just to preface, the house was picked up and cleaned earlier this morning and the sad thing is that Adam hasn't even made it home from school yet. Calgon take me away!

The Love of our Savior

I came across this website while reading another blog. It is a great and powerful video of the life and sacrifice of our Savior.

DisneyLand Vacation

Even though I am now 31 years old I still cannot contain my excitement as I walk through the gates and round the corner to step onto Main Street in DisneyLand. I love it! Especially when we take our kids there.

We spent the last week in March enjoying the California sunshine at DisneyLand with our family. We had a great time! We visited DisneyLand and California Adventure for 4 days, one day at Universal Studios (Abbi hated every minute of this park), and even found time to go to the beach. Alex loved the Madderhorn (the only roller coaster he could ride) and especially loved Playhouse Disney. Aaron and I enjoyed watching him get all excited when Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, the Little Einstiens, and Winnie the Pooh came on stage. He sang and danced with them and had a great time. As for Adam and Abbi, they unanimously agreed that California Screamin was their all-time favorite ride. I liked that one too plus the Midway Mania (a new Toy Story ride in California Adventure.)

Aaron and I loved spending time with the kids at DisneyLand. It was a fantastic vacation and like always came to an end too soon. Here's to looking forward to the next family vacation where ever that might be.

My Birthday celebrations

Last year for my 30th birthday Aaron took me on a trip to San Diego with a side detour to Vegas to see Phantom of the Opera. It was an amazing birthday and I told him he would have a hard time topping last years but, he did it! Birthday's in our house always go on for about a week and mine was no different. It started last Friday when some great friends and I took off to spend a weekend relaxing, eating, shopping, watching movies, staying up late, talking and giggling at a condo in Midway. We all had a great time and have decided to do it annually and call it a "mom's retreat." When I returned home on Sunday, Aaron had cleaned the house, made the kids clean their disastrous bedrooms, and even did several loads of laundry. What a guy! Then on Monday, the night before my birthday, Aaron handed me my present (neatly wrapped in a piece of scrap paper that he found on the desk in the office.) Inside were 2 tickets to "Wicked" for Wednesday night. He completely surprised me. I had mentioned in passing that I wanted to go and he picked up on it. He found us 2 tickets and drove clear to Syracuse to pick them up. So, now I had that to look forward to. My actual birthday was spent shopping in the glorious sunshine and eating lunch with Aaron at Goodwood. We had never been there before but it was delicious!

Now on to "Wicked." This play is absolutely amazing! If you ever have the chance to go - take it! I sat in awe the entire time with the fabulous music, the costumes, the scenery, and the actors. Can I go again? Truly one of the best.

So my birthday week is coming to a close but not before the family party on Sunday where we will hopefully be celebrating in my newly remodeled kitchen. The granite is supposed to come in on Saturday and that will be the final piece in putting my kitchen back together. I will post pics as soon as it is done. It should turn out great!

Okay Aaron, so you out did yourself again. Thanks for an amazing birthday!
